Elegibilty criteria for SSC Junior Engineer recruitment:
Age Limit as on 01.08.2024:
Central Public Works Department (CPWD): Up to 32 year
Others: Up to 30 years
Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below
# SC/ST: 5 years
# OBC: 3 years
# PwD (Unreserved): 10 years
# PwD (OBC): 13 years
# PwD (SC/ST): 15 years
Educational qualification for SSC Junior Engineer
Central Water Commission: A degree or diploma in the relevant engineering field from an accredited college or university.
MES, BRO, and DGQA-NAVAL: A degree in the relevant engineering field from an accredited university;
OR
(a) Three years of engineering-related diploma from an accredited school, university, or board; and (b) two years of experience in the design, implementation, and upkeep of relevant engineering projects.
Others: A diploma from an accredited university or other institution in the relevant engineering field.
