ONGC Recruitment 2023 : Age Limit & Relaxation
Age Limit
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and no older than 24 as of September 20, 2023, to be eligible. In other words, the applicant’s date of birth should be within the range of September 20, 1999, and September 20, 2005.

ONGC Recruitment 2023 : Selection Process
- Selection Method : According to the advertisement, candidates will be selected for apprentice positions depending on how well they performed on the qualifying exam. In the event of a tie in merit, precedence will be given to the applicant who is older.
- No Influence or Advocacy : It is expressly forbidden to canvass or make any other attempt to influence the selection process; doing so could result in the application of the candidate being rejected.
- Reservation Policy: Positions will be reserved in accordance with the SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/EWS categories as set forth by the Government of India.
How to Apply ?
The following registration requirements with the relevant Government of India agencies must be met by candidates before submitting an application for one of the aforementioned apprenticeship positions:
For Trade’s Accounts Executive and Office Assistant: (a) Register for the positions of Trade Accounts Executive and Office Assistant with the National Skill Development Council (NSDC) via the NSDC Apprenticeship Portal (https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/).
(a) For apprentices in trades: By registering on the MSDE Apprenticeship Portal, you can get in touch with the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE).
(b) For Apprentice Technicians: Through the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) run by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, register with the appropriate Regional Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT). Click here to access the registration link.
