IIM CAT 2023 Notification : Eligibility Criteria
Age Criteria : There is no age restriction for appearing in the CAT exam

| Educational Qualifications | Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA. For SC, ST, and PwD candidates, a 45% minimum is applicable. The degree must be from a recognized University or educational institution, recognized under Acts of Parliament/State legislature, or be a deemed University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. Equivalent qualifications as recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, are also accepted. |
| Eligibility for Final Year Students | Candidates in the final year of their Bachelor’s degree or equivalent exams, and those who have completed their degree requirements and are awaiting results, can apply. Such candidates, if selected, can provisionally join the program upon submission of a certificate from their University/Institution Principal/Registrar. The certificate must confirm the fulfillment of all degree requirements by the certificate’s date, as specified by the respective IIM. |
