Assam Police Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria

| Nationality | Candidates must belong to the State of Assam. |
| Age Limit | The candidate’s age should be under 50 years as of 01-01-2023 (born on or after 01.01.1973). |
| Educational Qualification | Basic Education (For all posts): High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) or equivalent. |
| Service Qualification | For Constable & Head Constable posts: Retired from the Army as a Sepoy to Havildar or equivalent in Navy/Air Force. <br> For Sub-Inspector & Inspector posts: Retired from the Army as a Naib Subedar or above or equivalent in Navy/Air Force. |
| Note | Ex-Servicemen who retired as Havildar or equivalent rank with 15 years of service can apply for the Sub-Inspector post, but not for both Constable/HC and Sub-Inspector. |
